Emma Mullings is an accomplished T.V. Presenter and Radio Announcer with a focus on music, entertainment, and current affairs. She also works as an Actor, TV Producer, Musician, Writer, and is a Journalism Graduate, which all bring a fresh perspective to her presenting style, making her a well-rounded and versatile presenter.
Emma currently hosts the mornings show on Sydneys HOPE 103.2FM 9am – 1pm weekdays. Although every morning we hear Emma on the airways, she is still a regular on our TV screens currently also presenting What’s New? Where you see it first, which airs nationally. Previously, Emma had been appearing regularly on The Morning Show (Ch 7), she also previously presented The Inside Word segment on The Circle (Network Ten). Emma co-hosted and produced Positive Hits (a music and lifestyle show), which aired internationally (UK, Indonesia, USA) and in Australia on the ACC: Foxtel. Emma’s writing has been published on numerous sites including Mamamia, Coping With Jane and BLUSSH, Emma is also a regular contributor to MICI Magazine.
Emma previously hosted Sony BMG’s HITZ BLITZ, which aired nationally on the WIN/NINE Television Network. Emma has also worked as a presenter and producer for STREET TV, which aired on Vodafone Live, plus regularly presents the ACC’s annual TV special This is Easterfest . Emma has interviewed the likes of Tara Moss, Maroon 5, Blue Juice, Rebecca Breeds, Paulini, Taylor Henderson, Evermore and Mika. Emma also has worked as a presenter in the corporate arena, hosting the Sydney corporate launch of the SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 2 plus corporate videos for Vodafone, the ONE Centre and C3.
Music and Radio:
Emma’s 2016 debut single SKINNY ROADS went straight to number one on the iTunes Inspirational charts on the day of release, and also spent three weeks at number 1 on the TCM charts. In it’s first week of distribution to Australian radio SKINNY ROADS debuted on the TCM chart @ #18, the highest ever for an Australian artist (becoming one of the most played Christian songs on Australian Christian radio that week). SKINNY ROADS the single remained in the top 30 clocking up and impressive 28 weeks. The SKINNY ROADS Video is also currently getting regular airplay on MTV Australia. In January 2017 it was announced that SKINNY ROADS the single was named the most played song on Christian radio across Australia for 2016, the song has also been nominated for 2016 APRA song of the year.
January 2017 saw SKINNY ROADS the single break into the top 30 on the Billboard Christian Hot AC/CHR chart in the US with the second highest debut of the week at #28.
The follow up single DREAM AGAIN also debut at number 1 on the iTunes Inspiration Charts and currently sits at number 4 on the Australian Christian Charts. DREAM AGAIN hit number 1 on Australia’s Hot 25 countdown. Emma’s debut 6 track EP titled ‘SKINNY ROADS…THE EP’, was released worldwide on October 25 2016. In the same week as the EP release, Emma picked up the MusicOz Australian Independent Music Award for the Christian category with her song SKINNY ROADS. LOVE UNGUARDED, WORTHY, and HOLDING ON, which all appear on the 6 track EP were also nominated for the award. Emma also took out the prestigious ‘Artist Of The Year’ award for the 2016 Music Oz Australian Independent Music Awards. In January 2017 both LOVE UNGUARDED and WORTHY Ft. BRAD SABAT were released consecutively to Australian radio.
Emma is an Australian Songwriters Awards Finalist (2004). Mullings previously won a MusicOz Award in the pop category (2003), and was also nominated in the Alternative and Artist Of The Year categories of the national independent music awards, before taking an eight year hiatus from music. She’s shown the break certainly hasn’t slowed her down, in fact her new tunes are fresher than ever.
Emma’s new single HERE AND NOW is due for release early 2018.
Emma currently hosts the mornings show 9am – 1pm weekdays on Sydney’s HOPE 103.2FM. Whilst hosting HITZ BLITZ on WIN TV Emma also guest co-hosted i98’s night time radio countdown show. Emma is a graduate from the renowned MASQUE National Institute of Performing Arts where she studied contemporary vocals.
MCing and Speaking Events:
Emma is a popular event MC, recently MCing the JOH BAILEY MYER Centre Tara Moss event. Emma also MC’d the Sydney STAND TALL EVENT which was held at KNOX Grammar school and was attended by 2000 students. Emma has both MC’d and been a speaker at numerous awareness and fundraising events for Women and Children living in Poverty in the continent of Africa. (Emma is an ambassador for Compassion Australia and recently travelled to Northern Uganda.) 2016 saw Emma speak at numerous Christian womens conferences and events around Australia.
Emma was the perfect MC for our Joh Bailey Sydney VIP event. She quickly understood the brief and the purpose of the evening. Through her skills and interview style Emma was able to connect our celebrities to our guests so they felt at ease and like they were in direct conversation with each other.

Emma is definitely a rare commodity in the entertainment industry, with her talents ranging from presenting in front of the camera to her knowledge and experience behind the camera as a producer. Emma worked in production at Network Ten for 6 years and on numerous other productions such as, Mums and Bubs (Screentime) and The Waiting Room (IMG), plus her role as Producer and Co-Creator of Positive Hits (Syndicated in AUS, UK, Indonesia and USA).
What She’s Passionate About:
Emma is passionate about assisting children living in poverty and has travelled to Uganda with Compassion Australia. Emma has been involved in many fundraising projects for children suffering with Nodding Syndrome in Northern Uganda, and produced an awareness raising documentary for Channel 10 News from footage taken whilst in Uganda. It was the first of it’s kind to air in Australia. Emma is also regularly involved in fundraising that provides education and support for ‘war brides’ post war in Uganda.
Emma’s heart for people is that everyone would live in their full potential. Her passion is to help people find healing and restoration from the circumstances that life throws. She is passionate about helping people find their own strength and healing through adversities. “Nothing is wasted in our lives, God uses it all, and besides, smooth seas never made a skilled sailor”. Emma has shared parts of her own story and keys to overcome through God’s word at numerous conferences and churches.
Each week on her radio show Emma will both give you a laugh with her hilariously transparent stories, plus inspire you to live bigger with her daily inspirational interviews. Emma is known for her mix of quirky humour and stretching wisdom. The sugar and the medicine.
