2016 saw Emma return to her songwriting and singing roots.

Her Debut Single SKINNY ROADS was released August 9th. This song is “a song about destiny. Taking the skinny road in life. The road less travelled, the road to your purpose”.

On the first day of release SKINNY ROADS rocketed to Number 1 on the iTunes Inspirational Charts, and also spent three weeks at number 1 on the TCM charts.  The SKINNY ROADS Video is also currently getting regular airplay on MTV Australia.  In January 2017 it was announced that SKINNY ROADS the single was named the most played song on Christian radio across Australia for 2016, the song has also has been nominated for 2016 APRA song of the year.  Late January 2017 SKINNY ROADS broke into the top 30 on the Billboard Christian Hot AC/CHR chart in the US with the second highest debut of the week at #28.
